Origin Club is a project development agency based in Greece.
Our long term vision is to change the way we (the Church) grow and trade food in Greece and the Eastern Med. Our short term strategy is simple: to dedicate ourselves to a new grassroots movement—and global marketplace—that we call Church-Supported Agriculture.
Today we're starting with small steps. We therefore invite you to:
Support Origin Club's pilot project on Lesvos from fall 2019.
Join a growing community of Holy Spirit-filled diggers and dreamers as we gather regularly for prayer-based meet-ups on Lesvos.

What is Origin Club?
Origin Club is a project development agency.
Our heart is to help seed a network of prayer-based missional communities (and related agri-food projects) in rural Greece and the wider Eastern Med:
To inspire and equip a new Jesus movement ready to rebuild the ancient ruins in our region's long-forgotten rural places.
Origin Club is a marketing platform.
Our desire is to help unite the global Church in support of this grassroots, gospel-centred movement:
To establish lasting and committed relationships within local and global producer and consumer networks, and to share everything we learn along the way.
What is Church-Supported Agriculture?
We believe the global Church is uniquely positioned to respond to a convergence of crises in modern agriculture.
Our individual, everyday food choices—compounded by the billions—represent the largest socioeconomic juggernaut the world has ever known. With over a billion individuals making up the global Church we therefore declare this convergence of crises to be a truly historic opportunity for the gospel.
Today in Athens and on Lesvos Origin Club is starting small. We've identified an opportunity for vocational discipleship training in regenerative agricultural practices in the midst of one of Greece's most disadvantaged refugee communities. It is this simple olive harvesting project—and the individuals and churches who sponsor it— that will make up our emerging community's pilot project from 2019 - 2021.
Balancing a God-sized vision with a commitment to take small, disciple-sized steps, Origin Club is utterly dependent upon the grace of God to go before us.
Please pray for us!

What is Agile Life?
Underpinning everything Origin Club does is a social technology with a spiritual purpose:
To make disciples and plant Kingdom cultures, centred on Jesus, on every mountain of our 21st century life.
The Agile Life Tree is an educational and discipleship model —adapted from Agile Learning Facilitation —explicitly intended to help ordinary people cultivate everyday relationships with an extraordinary God.
Agile Life is about how we live and learn, work and play—as families, in our schools, in our business life and as missional or church communities. We use this unique approach to discipleship to balance creative expression with intentional culture creation as we ask big life-sized questions and seek life-changing answers together. Origin Club is committed to learning by doing — courageously embracing the mistakes we make along the way — in order that we might grow in faith and share experiences which enrich and edify our lives.
How does Origin Club work?
We learn and grow in the soil of faith that is cultivated and
made fertile by our actively living in relationship— with God, with people and with nature. Just like in any garden, it is
healthy soil which makes for fruitful lives!
We believe God created every individual with a special purpose, blessing each of us with unique gifts so that we might pour out our lives in service of others— and by doing so learn to live exceedingly abundantly!
Prayer is our superpower! We're learning to pray in daily rhythms and being transformed by this game-changing truth: we have everyday access to unshakeable love, peace and joy — simply by sharing our lives with Him in prayer!
We believe in infinite play and encourage one another to explore life courageously. We embrace extraordinary mistakes which happen in service of extraordinary learning. Because God's grace is limitless and his children are made to be free!
Because we step into lives of joy, peace and love through gates of thanksgiving and praise! Everyday is a good day to celebrate something — whether a season, a fruit, a relationship or any other part of God's creation.
What's the vision?
Origin Club is a project development agency dedicated to the emerging Church-Supported Agriculture movement and marketplace in Greece and the Eastern Med.
We're starting with what God's placed in our hands—a series of small-scale pilot projects to be worked out on Lesvos and in Athens from 2019 - 2021.
Our long term vision is for the regeneration of the Eastern Med's ancient ruins. We're believing for a new rural Jesus movement to raise up a generation of the lost, the poor and the aliens—inclusive of global pilgrims, Greek unemployed, refugee and Roma people groups— whilst equipping them with a future-facing and self-replicating model for restorative agriculture and enterprise.
Here's founder Marcus Letts to explain more!
"Following a two year cycle of R&D in rural Evia, we’re learning to humble ourselves and start with what we have: an invitation to go and serve the refugee population on Lesvos. Initially these pilot schemes are simply an opportunity to meet with like-minded people and projects and seek the presence of God together—in the spirit of Acts 2:42!
Meanwhile, we continue to hold a vision to one day help build and plant a whole network of co-living projects and research farms for the cultivation of holistic, prayer-based and family-friendly lifestyles which seek the Kingdom first: a model that we believe may thrive again in the Eastern Med's long forgotten rural places.

We’d truly love to hear from you!"
Why might Origin Club suceed?
Olive harvesting pilot scheme on Lesvos
Did you know there are 11,000,000 olive trees on Lesvos? Even more incredible is that up to 50% of this crop doesn't get harvested!
Responding to an invitation from Euro Relief—the NGO responsible for coordinating activities at Moria refugee camp—Origin Club will design and deliver a 3 - 6 month olive harvesting scheme on Lesvos from Autumn 2019. Our goal is simple: to create meaningful training opportunities—including a much-needed vocational discipleship programme—for new believers in Moria camp.
The Sanctuary is a fictional prayer farm and farm school near Athens in Central Greece.
In early 2019 we undertook a comprehensive design process on this family smallholding of 3,5 acres in order to reimagine and relaunch it as a Christian retreat space. Our concept was to create a meeting place and test site: the launchpad from which an entire network of similar communities might emerge in the years to come. Though this project remains a design fiction today, we hope it is a dream that will come true sooner rather than later!
Transform Evia is a 2 year R&D deep dive we recently completed on Evia island.
Our long term goal continues to be the bioregion-scale regeneration of long-forgotten rural places like Evia. Central to this vision and strategy is the design and development of a scaled up prayer farm and farm school we've dubbed the Agricultural Research Centre—orARC for short. It is upon this kind of educational facility that we believe a movement and marketplace might be established. If you'd like to discover more, please get in touch today!
